Project management involves many decisions. The decisions range from small decisions like what snacks to provide for a meeting break, to how to handle a risk, to large decisions like to whether to sign a multimillion dollar contract. The stakeholder register and responsibility assignment matrix identify who needs to be consulted or informed about a decision and who has the authority and responsibility for making the different kinds of decisions.
