The Change Journey - one change plan.

Two basic rules of life are 1) Change is inevitable. 2) Everybody resists change.
- W. Edwards Deming

The organizational change management plan is a plan for managing the change to the organization, especially the personnel. It involves teaching people about the desired changes, motivating their acceptance of the change, and reinforcing the changes (see organizational change management for more about the steps and kind of changes). The organizational change management plan is not one of the subsidiary plans of the project management plan recommended by PMI in the PMBOK, 5th edition. These changes could be fit into other subsidiary plans like the change management plan and the human resource management plan. Some organizations may prefer to have this optional plan as a separate plan to fit in with their normal organizational processes.
