PMI is the Project Management Institute. It is one of the certifying bodies for project managers. (Another is AXELOS for the PRINCE2 certification.) This wiki is primarily based on the processes for project management as defined by PMI with their inputs, tools and techniques, and outputs.

Certifications include the

  • Project Management Profesional or PMP®
  • Certified Associate Project Manager (CAPM®)

CIO magazine called the PMP certification the "gold standard in project management certifications".[1]
