  1. cause-and-effect diagrams, also known as fishbone diagrams or Ishikawa diagrams
  2. flowcharts
  3. checksheets, also known as tally sheets
  4. Pareto diagrams
  5. Histograms
  6. Control charts
  7. Scatter diagrams
